Harambabes are harambusy people! Many of the Harambabes have other musical and performing projects going on, so read below and be sure to come and check out their performances when you can!
Harambee is not the only choir that Sarah directs. Formed at the start of this year, Sarah’s newest choir Suara is for male and female singers aged between 14-21 years old. During its short life span, Suara has already achieved much success, winning prizes at both Dandenong and Boroondara eisteddfods. The choir’s repertoire consists mainly of contemporary a cappella arrangements.
Suara rehearses at 5pm on Sundays in Surrey Hills and currently has places for tenors and basses, and may soon have places available for sopranos and altos. For more information about Suara, or if you would like to audition, email Sarah at sarpatto@gmail.com
Come along to Suara's first concert as the headline act!! Saturday, 22nd November, at the Kingston Arts Centre, 2pm.
When not singing with Harambee, John is often performing his original music as a soloist around Melbourne.

A few of the Harambabes – Sophie, Jane, Andrew, Angela and Justina – are string players! They love playing string quartets together and have a wide range of repertoire.
